GM Vesper & Property Mixologist, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Andrew Pollard, originally from Phoenix, AZ, began his career at just the age of 18. He found his way to Las Vegas 6 years ago to pursue his passion for bartending. He started at Tangerine Nightclub & Lounge (2004), where he had the great pleasure of working with legendary bartenders including Tony Rossi, Ken Hall and Tobin Ellis.

In 2007, Andrew reunited with long-time mentor Ken Hall, with the opening of Noir Bar at the Luxor Hotel, and has since continued to hone his mixology skills. Upon entering the competitive circuit last year, he has earned recognition and accolades at events such as the U.S.B.B. Leblon Cachaca Caipirinha competition - Judges Choice, and Tales of the Cocktail - New Orleans, LA (Las Vegas team in affiliation with Tobin Ellis).

Pollard was also named “Most Inspired Bartender 2009, Las Vegas” by Bombay Sapphire/GQ Magazine, and competed as a finalist in the 2010 Domaine de Canton Bartender of the Year, where he was ultimately runner-up.

Beyond bartending, Andrew enjoys spending his time with his lovely wife Kelly, 4 month old son Jack, and year-old Wheaten Terrier Charlie. You can find Andrew behind the bar at Noir as well as alongside Tobin Ellis at Bar Magic's social mixololgy events all over town.
